Hi, it’s nice to e-meet you!
Hey, I’m Josh! I come from a background of creating 3D art but what really drives me is people - bringing teams together, solving problems and making projects run smoothly. After graduating from Escape Studios, I spent eight months at Pixel Zoo working in Unreal Engine and Redshift, getting hands on with both art and tech.
Now at Plinc, I work in a technical project management role, sitting between clients, account teams, and data engineers to help deliver complex data-driven projects. It’s a role that blends problem-solving, communication, and systems thinking, and it’s where I’ve found I do my best work: enabling others, improving how things run, and continuously building my technical understanding along the way.
I will never leave my creative tools behind and will always be making awesome environments whether for work or for fun! For now I’m excited for the next chapter, and looking to be part of teams that push creativity forward. Let’s make something amazing together!
P.s I love origami, so chances are I’ll make you an origami butterfly :)
Kindness and Creativity
My years in hospitality taught me that no matter how much industries evolve, people and their experiences are at the heart of it all. In a rapidly changing landscape that’s embracing AI and new technologies, I believe we have to remember that the real magic happens when innovation serves people.
Creating environments that feel welcoming, engaging, and meaningful is a skill I learned early on, and it’s something I carry with me into my creative work, helping to build experiences that resonate personally, even in a high-tech world.
Seeking Work
While I’ve loved untangling complex systems and technical projects at Plinc, I’m now looking for my next challenge due to the company’s shifting direction. At heart, I’m a people person who happens to love a good puzzle so I'm seeking a TPM or Production role in a high-growth environment. I want to help a new, ambitious team find their flow and ship things we’re all genuinely proud of.
My Software Skills
In this section, I’ve outlined the software tools I use regularly, along with my proficiency and expertise within each. From 3D modelling to interactive media, these are the platforms that help bring my creative and technical visions to life.

The power of people
I’ve had the privilege of working with some really amazing people, as well as in some really amazing places. Here are some insights into some of my previous jobs.

While at Plinc, I’ve grown into a technical project management role working on the Halfords account, supporting the delivery of complex, data-driven systems at scale. Plinc operates at the intersection of data, technology, and marketing, and my work sits right in the middle of that — bridging clients, account teams, and data engineers to make sure things move forward clearly and effectively.
My day-to-day involves translating ambiguity into action. Whether that’s scoping and delivering data projects, coordinating engineers, or managing live incidents, I’ve learned how important clarity, communication, and context are when working with complex systems. Many of the challenges don’t come neatly defined, so a big part of my role is asking the right questions, understanding where issues sit in the wider ecosystem, and helping teams focus on what actually matters.
One of the most valuable parts of my time at Plinc has been working with an incredibly strong team. I’m constantly challenged to think more critically, communicate more clearly, and deepen my technical understanding. The environment encourages learning and collaboration, and I’ve found that I do my best work when I’m enabling others, improving how we operate, and helping teams navigate complexity together.
Overall, my time at Plinc has reinforced what motivates me most: working with smart, driven people on technically interesting problems, continuously learning, and contributing to systems and processes that genuinely make a difference.

While at Pixel Zoo, I had the honour of working on Stuffed. For those unfamiliar, Stuffed the Comic is a wonderfully imaginative webcomic by the amazing artists Erik McCurdy and Pat Campbell. A few incredibly talented people, including Josh Fisher, had the vision to bring it to life as an animated show—and that’s where my team at Pixel Zoo came in.
With three directors, one producer, Josh Fisher, and a dedicated asset team, we set out to translate the comic’s charm into animation. My role was to build the five environments that would serve as the world for these beloved characters. With limited time and resources—where character animation was the top priority—every decision had to be efficient and intentional. This challenge brought me into my element, pushing me to be resourceful and creative in finding ways to enhance the world without overshadowing the characters.
The biggest challenge, however, was ensuring the environments seamlessly blended with the animation. Working closely with the directors, I focused on making sure the scale, perspective, and lighting supported the storytelling, capturing the spirit of the comic while making the world feel alive. Seeing the final result was incredibly rewarding—knowing that my work provided the perfect backdrop for these characters to exist and their stories to unfold. More than anything, Stuffed was a testament to what a passionate team can achieve together, and I’m proud to have been part of bringing that vision to life.

Cafe OTO, is a home away from home for me. One of the safest spaces in London, and so the world. A space where everyone is welcome to be themselves, and a space where community is encouraged. I worked behind the bar, mostly making coffee’s but occasionally making everything from soups to chutneys. My customers were everything from artists and musicians to homeless people just needing a warm safe space to have some tea. I learnt a lot from my colleagues and customers at Cafe OTO, notably the value of creating a positive and welcoming environment for both artists and the local community.
The cafe and venue thrives on an ethos of inclusivity, where everyone - whether they’re performing or just attending - feels respected and valued. The warmth and kindness shown by the staff and the openness of the space reminded me that a supportive atmosphere can elevate any experience, making people feel more connected and comfortable. This experience reinforced the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, being approachable, and fostering a sense of community, no matter the setting. It’s about more than just the event itself; it’s about creating an environment where creativity can thrive and people can be themselves. -
During my time at Outscape Games, I quickly learned how essential it is to foster a sense of community and connection, especially in a work climate where many team members work remotely. Outscape Games was an innovative AR team bonding experience, which brought everyone together in a fun and engaging way. It highlighted the power of shared experiences and how important it is to inspire and motivate others, even from a distance. Creating a welcoming and positive environment where people feel valued and supported is crucial for boosting morale and collaboration. Whether through creative projects or casual moments, I saw first-hand how a positive and inclusive atmosphere can fuel both individual growth and team success.
